iChef Journal [11.22.2001 Wednesday] Well, I was supposed to update last night because I promised good old ET that I'd put something up if he did. I wasn't able to, due to a long phone call and a long talk with Bobby about some issues that I'm learning to deal with. So, those are my excuses ET! Sorry man, that I didn't hold up my side in updating. So I'm pretty tired right now, after staying up late talking to Bobby, and getting up today because I have much to do before I leave to home for Thanksgiving. I haven't updated in the morning before, so you'll have to just bear with me right now. One of the things Bobby and I talked about was the subject of what we were doing now, and just how it affected the next 5 - 10 years of our youth. We both agreed that we wanted to do our best at whatever we were passionate and talented in, but we didn't know if we were taking the path for this. For Bobby, he's on his way home pretty soon (after this quarter) and hopefully onto graduate school. I'm still in the middle of a decision to stay in San Diego or to head back home. I'm hoping that the trip home will help to clarify some stuff. We wanted to be old, and look back and say, "i'm glad that i commited to this or that..." Just to find worth in these things. Yeah, it's good to talk to Bobby about these things. I'm glad that these conversations have come up. I get inspired to pursue these good things and not to give up. On another note, on the way up to home (11 hour trip: Ahhhhh!), the freshman guys were busy memorizing bible verses in the back seat.
